Inheriting the spirit of petroleum and promoting the growth of young people, the "Caring for the Next Generation Education Base" was unveiled at the Ningxia Petroleum Exhibition Hall in Changqing Oilfield

On March 27th, the unveiling ceremony of the "Care for the Next Generation Education Base" at the Changqing Oilfield Ningxia Petroleum Exhibition Hall was held in Yinchuan City. Through red education, practical experience, and popular science guidance, it provides a platform and gathers strength for the growth and development of young people.

The Changqing Oilfield Ningxia Petroleum Exhibition Hall is located in Xixia District, Yinchuan City. It was completed and put into use in 2020, with an exhibition area of 1200 square meters. It is the first and second level exhibition hall built by Changqing Oilfield in Ningxia, and also the first modern and specialized exhibition hall in Ningxia with petroleum as its theme. The exhibition hall records the glorious history and fruitful achievements of Ningxia's petroleum exploration and development through more than 2000 photos, over 200 physical objects, over 30 sculptures, scenes, sand tables, and multimedia.

Entering the exhibition hall, the LED screen displays documentary footage of Changqing Oilfield's journey from the wilderness to the construction of Daqing in the west. The displayed drilling tools, handwritten notes, etc. restore the conditions of early exploration. The dynamic sand table simulates the development process of Gobi oil fields through touch screen interaction, and tells the exploration story of the 1960s with images. The exhibition hall combines physical display with technological experience, allowing young people to intuitively understand the development process of the petroleum industry, feel the spirit of hard work from historical objects, recognize the value of technological innovation in digital exhibitions, guide them to understand the significance of the petroleum industry to national energy security, and stimulate their sense of responsibility and mission.

It is understood that as of now, the exhibition hall has received more than 40000 visiting teams and more than 7500 visiting students. The exhibition hall has successively been awarded honors such as the first "New Era Civilization Practice Base", "Patriotic Education Base", "Science Popularization Base", "Party History Learning and Education Visiting Point" in Ningxia, and the "Walking Ideological and Political Course" Practice Education Base in Yinchuan City.
