On March 14th, Wang Dongjin, Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of CNOOC, presided over a Party Group meeting to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during the National People's Congress and the spirit of the National People's Congress, as well as the spirit of the Central Party Building Work Leading Group Meeting.

Wang Dongjin emphasized the need to deeply understand the core essence, spiritual essence, and practical requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech, as well as the scientific judgment of the situation and the deployment requirements of work tasks in the government work report. We must effectively unify our thoughts and actions with the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, benchmark and implement them effectively, and firmly support the "two consolidations" and resolutely uphold the "two safeguards" with practical actions. We must regard the study, publicity, and implementation of the spirit of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference as an important political task. Through various forms of timely communication, learning, and news propaganda guidance, combined with the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Central Economic Work Conference, and General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions on state-owned enterprises, energy industry, and oil and gas field, we should integrate and study them organically. Representatives, members, and leaders at all levels of CNOOC participating in the National People's Political Consultative Conference and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference should take the lead in preaching, promote the spirit of the National People's Political Consultative Conference and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference to platforms, workshops, and teams, and unite. To implement the spirit of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in all aspects of promoting the high-quality development of the company, and to complete the goals and tasks of the 14th Five Year Plan with high quality, laying a solid foundation for achieving a good start to the company's 15th Five Year Plan. Wang Dongjin requested that we study and deploy the study and education work of thoroughly implementing the spirit of the Central Eight point Regulation, improve our political stance, deeply understand the importance of carrying out this study and education, and regard it as an important measure to consolidate and deepen the achievements of theme education and party discipline study and education, and to deepen the comprehensive strict governance of the Party.
